CREATE MORE, WORRY LESS

I want to explain a bit more about the idea behind ‘Create More, Worry Less’. 

 

In its simplest form it works as it is. However, to me, it means so much more. 

 

Create doesn’t just mean artistically. It means in every aspect of life. Create love, create peace, create friendship, create compassion, create hope. Essentially I want to be the best version of myself and those are the things that I want to define me. You may choose others.

 

I am a chronic over thinker and keeping this idea at the back of my brain helps me to focus. Not always, but sometimes.

 

I have had it up on my wall for a while now and found it very useful. When I created an art piece at Firstsite around this concept and shared it on social media, a lot of people took something from it. I plan on using ‘Create More, Worry Less’ as a motto for my creative practice moving forward.
